Back to Basics

We're thrilled to announce our BACK TO BASICS series of online events. These will be broadcast into the Facebook group, via Facebook Live, and archived as a series of podcasts on our website.

The aim of the series is to aid members who are new to creative writing, or are looking to diversify, in terms of genre and form. The series also offers practical support with editing, submitting for publication and pitching to publishers.

Each of the writers, editors and creative practitioners are donating their time, to support the membership in this way. The online events, hosted by Federation Chair Marcas Mac an Tuairneir, will be hour-long, introductory round-tables, celebrating creative writing and practice - tune in for tips from some of the finest in Scotland, and beyond.
